In Extremo pictures

Unfortunately we were not allowed to take a digital camera with us, so we took photographs with a single use camera this time.

As usual you can see Die Lutter on the right in the back, focused on his playing. Looks like Yellow Pfeiffer is thinking something over and Flex sees something in the distance. At least one guy is doing what he is paid for....

Did you see Yellow Pfeiffer has a different haircut?

Dr Pymonte plays his harp, so he knows what we expect him to do as well. I'm not sure what Das Letzte Einhorn is pointing at, maybe the same interesting object Flex was looking at?
I know what they are up to... They want us to do the job! Lousy musicians, these guys ;-)
To be honest, they walk around a lot, so we should allow them to have a little break now and then....
I think Das Letzte Einhorn likes the idea.... Please don't go away!
Phew, just a moment of distraction....
Meanwhile Yellow Pfeiffer took another instrument, Alex's favorite! It's called a nickelharpa and is a late or maybe even post-medieval instrument from Sweden. It combines keys with snares and is played with both fiddle-stick and fingers (at the back).
Most of the time Yellow Pfeiffer plays his bagpipes, decorated with a faun we think.
The drums behind him are played by Der Morgenstern. In the back of it is a gong, which is hardly played. We've heard it only once.
Das Letzte Einhorn takes his cyster to play the intro to 'Herr Mannelig', our favorite song. He plays the cyster for this song and Ai vis lo lop only. The instrument definitely ads a very distinctive sound to these songs.
So does the schalmei or shawm played by Yellow Pfeiffer.
Das Letzte Einhorn plays a smaller flute in one song, we think it's 'Hiemali Tempore'.
It's always funny to see tough looking big guy Dr Pymonte play a delicate melody on his harp.
This is a very distinctive pose for Das Letzte Einhorn.
