When watching Das Letzte Einhorn sing you cannot miss his distinctive
facial expressions and moves of his jaws. Most of them look quite
aggressive, but he's not dangerous we assume ;-) We think that's how he
tries to put (very raw) emotions into his singing. |
| As always Die Lutter doesn't show any expression but his poker face.
Actually he showed quite a few smiles today, but Alex didn't catch one on
camera unfortunately. |
He did shoot a picture of Das Letzte Einhorn laughing! But that's much
easier, he jokes around on stage pretty much. |
| But the most amusing guy on stage today definitely was Yellow Pfeiffer!
He really tried to get some interaction with the other band members, but
they were busy making a fool of Der Lange because of his limping (he hurt
his knee on stage in Nordhorn) most of the time. And Yellow Pfeiffer
really is too nice to do such a thing.... |
Der Lange couldn't take any risk by joking around because of his knee,
so he couldn't give Yellow Pfeiffer what he wanted.... He stayed at his
place on the left mostly. |
| But of course we don't mind giving Yellow Pfeiffer some attention when
he asks for it. Doesn't he look a bit lonely you think? |
Meanwhile Flex Der Biegsame even falls asleep. Doesn't anyone else want
to party today?! Wake up Flex! |
| Ok, that's enough, eating your microphone is not that funny, Flex!
Aren't you overacting now? |
That's a good boy, just do what you're good at! Doesn't anybody have to
wipe off the microphone? Or maybe a roadie can get him another one? |
| Dr Pymonte (Andre) concentrates on playing his keyboard, so he sure
won't take care of the problem....
Did you notice his new, black bagpipes with a duck-like wood-cut? |
He even starts to party when he takes his bagpipes again. Flex behaved properly
and amusing now. He joined Dr Pymonte to make
up for his earlier behavior. |
| Yellow Pfeiffer is looking for someone to have fun with, but doesn't pay
attention when his pals finally start partying. What is worth his
attention? Someone doing funny tricks like himself? Boris, the party is
over here! |
Did anyone say party? I'm coming! |
| Yes, walking around with my bagpipe buddies, that's why I'm a member of
In Extremo! |
Let's rock! Me and Marco (Flex) rock better then any dope head guitar player! |
| Except for our Basti (Der Lange) of course. Even with a limping leg he
kicks ass! |
And of course Kay (Die Lutter) rocks too, he just doesn't show it because
he's too shy to handle attention. Or just very introvert, who knows....
Actually he suddenly had a burst out today, but we weren't allowed to take
pictures at that moment anymore unfortunately. He took an open bottle of
beer and pressed it against the neck of his guitar to play a rough piece.
The beer fizzed around and the roadie had to clean it up. Somewhere in Kay
there's a rough, funny man we think.... ;-) |
| Dr Pymonte takes over so Yellow Pfeiffer can take a little rest at the
side. Being funny all the time is a hell of a job you know! |
Just like playing drums, only Reiner (Der Morgenstern) is the only
drummer, so he can hardly take a rest! |
| And the others always manage to get on the picture too! It's hard to sit
in the back! |
Meanwhile Yellow Pfeiffer got into action again, so let's take a final
shot of him, just because he's so good at being photographed ;-) |
| As always the Extremo's leave the stage to hear us call for more. Here
you can see some of the medieval or otherwise special instruments
they play. In the lower corner at the left there's a new drum-like
instrument played by Micha (Das Letzte Einhorn) during the new song 'Königin'.
We had to get used to the song because of the strange rhythm played on the
new 'drum' but some other fans really loved the song immediately. In
Nordhorn Der Lange hurt his knee during this song. |
Alex did also take lots of pictures of the 'credits ritual'. De Bosuil organization
said that band would stop playing when pictures were taken after the
third song, but now they would go anyway...
What are the guys looking at? |
| They are talking Der Morgenstern into coming down to get the credits he
deserves. 'Come down or I'm coming up to get you!' Das Letzte
Einhorn says. I don't think Der Morgenstern has to be afraid to lose the
'fight'
;-) |
Well, let's start the 'credits ritual' then. Left part of the stage.... |
| ...right part of the stage! And Der Morgenstern has come down now. |
After some ritual refusing he walks to the microphone to get some
attention of the audience after all. |
| Take a bow and show your new haircut.... That's what's being Der
Morgenstern is all about! |
Yellow Pfeiffer looks at it quite amused because he knows he has a
better haircut, but Die Lutter can only think of sitting down an a nice
cool drink.... |
| Ok, time to wave goodbye! Der Morgenstern takes care of Der Lange
because of his knee, or is he making fun of him too, now he has come down?
Poor Basti.... stop making fun of him, he's a cute limpi... eehhh....
sorry, little rock guy! |
See you later.... |
| After the show someone took a set list of the stage and we took a
picture of it. It's a pity they didn't play Le'or chy', one of our
favorites. |
After the show some Extremo's joined the audience to have some talk with
them and to sign stuff. |
| Kay looks less exhausted now and is talking to Dorothea, a German fan we
got to know through our site and saw in real life first time today.
Chatting with Kay obviously is a lot easier when speaking German! Alex
doesn't speak any German, so he's a bit jealous now ;-) |
